State Road 47 Reconstruction Project To Begin In Sheridan

The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that Phase 1 of the State Road 47 Reconstruction Project in Sheridan is set to begin on or after Monday, March 23.

During the first phase of construction, S.R. 47 will be closed between Hamilton/Boone County Line Road and Westco Parkway. This closure is scheduled to remain in place for approximately one month.

Sections of S.R. 47 are scheduled to be closed through the middle of 2027, as crews work to reconstruct the road between the Hamilton/Boone county line and State Road 38.
