The Indiana Department of Transportation announces speed limit reductions that will impact State Road 267 in Hendricks County.
Beginning on or after Monday, July 27, crews will begin installing new signs that will signify speed reductions in the following locations:
45 miles-per-hour to 40 mph from County Road 700 N. to C.R. 800 N. (just north of I-74)
55 mph to 45 mph from C.R. 800 N. to the Hendricks/Boone County line (Exception: Fayette will remain 30 mph through town)
The purpose of the reduced speed limits is to enhance safety in the area. At this time, work is not anticipated to cause delays or lane closures in the area.
