Shots Fired Report Results In Arrest

On April 14, 2025, at approximately 8:43 pm, Frankfort Police Officers were dispatched for a report of a man with a gun and shots fired in the area of Washington St and Young St. The male was quickly located and detained without further incident. An investigation by officers found that 21-year-old, Jacob Heinrichs, of Frankfort had fired several shots into the sidewalk/ground in the area.
On April 15, 2025, the Clinton County Prosecutor charged Heinrichs with the following:
Possession of Cocaine, A Level 5 Felony.
Criminal Recklessness Committed with a Deadly Weapon, a Level 6 Felony.
Battery by Bodily Waste, Victim is a Public Safety Officer, a Level 6 Felony.
Public Intoxication, Endangers the life of Another, a misdemeanor.
Possession of Paraphernalia, Introducing a Controlled Substance into Body, a misdemeanor.
