Sheriff’s Office To Offer Citizen Firearms Training

   The Boone County Sheriff’s Office will once again offer citizen firearms training in 2026, providing a unique opportunity for community members to train alongside law enforcement through education, safety, and responsibility.  The Boone County Sheriff’s Office will be offering Principles of the Defensive Handgun courses for all experience levels, including Co-Ed and Ladies Only options.
