Routine School Patrol Nets Arrest Of Serious Sex Offender

On March 7, 2025, Officer Brett Waggoner with the Frankfort Police Department was conducting afternoon school patrol in the 300 Block N Maish Rd when he observed a vehicle known to him that was registered to a sexually violent predator and was being driven by a male at that time. The vehicle had been driving on Frankfort schools' property. A traffic stop was conducted.

With assistance from the Clinton County Sheriff's Office, it was confirmed that the driver, 61-year-old Bruce Alsman Jr, of Frankfort, is prohibited from being on school property. He was arrested and taken to the jail.

On March 10, 2025, the Clinton County Prosecutor's Office filed a charge of:

35-42-4-14(b)/F6: Unlawful Entry by a Serious Sex Offender.
