Road Closure To Impact U.S. 421 In Boone County

The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure that will impact U.S. 421 in Boone County. 

Beginning on or after Friday, August 15, crews will be replacing a small structure over McCoy Ditch on U.S. 421, located between State Road 47 and County Road 500 N. Work is anticipated to last a couple of months but is weather-dependent and subject to change. The official detour around the closure follows S.R. 47 west to S.R. 39 south to S.R. 32 east back to U.S. 421. 

INODT encourages drivers to seek an alternate route and to use caution in and around all work zones.
