Patricia Jeanette “Tish” (Breedlove) Luper

Patricia Jeanette “Tish” (Breedlove) Luper, 76, passed away early Thursday morning, May 22, 2025, at home in Lebanon, Indiana. Born April 24, 1949, in Lebanon, Indiana, Tish was one of nine children to the late Earnest Lewis Breedlove and Elizabeth Mae (Vanausdall) Breedlove.

On October 27, 1967, she was united in marriage to Stephen A. Luper, in Mechanicsburg, Indiana. He passed away on February 22, 2017.

Tish had many loves and hobbies in her life including Cake decorating – cakes of all kinds (wedding cakes, adult themed cakes, kids’ cakes) – us kids never went very long without sneaking cake mix straight from the mixer, of eating the top shavings off the cakes. Also not to mention the gallons of cake icing. And all the mint’s – us kids would swipe before and after the dough was pressed into rose molds even after we were threatened within an inch of our lives, LOL. Crafts - Making wreath’s, crafting Gnomes, Diamond Painting, loved working with / creating Flower arrangements. Camping – spend many summers at Sugar Mill Campground in Crawfordsville, teaching grandkids to fish (although she would never touch the trophy fish she caught). Driving the wheels off the golf cart while checking up on all the neighbors there - Oh the miles she put that golf cart through. Casino life – She always aspired to hit the big one, it was always one pull of the handle away, and yes, she did hit a couple good size jackpots, but the severe life changing jackpots always eluded her.

Tish’s careers outside of home & family, Just -Rite restaurant – Where she met her life partner in crime Steve; Nurse – LPN - Tish worked for (including & not in order) Parkwood, Essex Manor, Witham Memorial Hosp (old hospital), and Lebanon Manor; Waitress – County Seat restaurant (Up town Lebanon) and Hen House restaurant; Management - Gas America’s in Lebanon and Dolly Madison Thrift Store (Lebanon & Frankfort).

Survivors include three sons, Allen (Sonya) Luper of Boswell, Chad (Jennifer) Luper of Norfolk, VA, and Brent (Angie) Luper of Kirklin; beloved canine daughter, Sadie Lynn; nine grandchildren, Christa (significant other, Benjamin Kallmyer) Luper, Mathew (significant other, Katrina Lynn) Luper, Logan Luper, Alexander (Alexes) Luper, Garrett (Haylee) Luper, Chloe Janssen, Lena Luper, Katy Cramer, and Jay Brown; fourteen great grandchildren, Cash, Laya, Tanner, Skyler, Landon, Kaiden, Weston, Oakley, Aspyn, Baby boy (due in June), Khloey, Ryker, Kallie, and Matthew; three sisters, Esther (Carter) Copeland, Kathy (Steve) Neese, and Melinda (Dick) Bures; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Tish was preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby Breedlove, Leon Breedlove, and Ray Breedlove; and two sisters, Diane Hendricks and Susan Scudder.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the Lebanon Christian Church, 610 West 250 North, in Lebanon, Indiana. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her care.
