U.S. Adds Three More Swimming Medals (Paris) -- It was a big final day in swimming for Team USA at the Paris Olympics. Americans added three more medals including the women winning gold in the 4 x 100-meter medley relay. The men's 4 x 100-meter medley relay team led by Caeleb Dressel earned silver. Meanwhile, American Bobby Finke won his second straight gold medal in the men's 1500-meter freestyle while setting a new world record. Sunday marked the final day of swimming with Team USA winning 28 total medals in the pool in Paris, 10 more than the next country Australia. >>American Noah Lyles Wins Gold In Men's 100-Meter (Paris) -- Sprinter Noah Lyles broke a 20-year drought for the Americans. After a photo finish, and a difference of five-one-thousandths of a second, Lyles won the gold medal in the men's 100 meter yesterday in Paris. Fellow American Fred Kerley took home bronze after finishing in third. Four more medal events are on tap today in athletics. >>USA Women's Basketball Win Final Group Play Game (Paris) -- The U.S. women's basketball team extended its winning streak to 58 straight in Olympic competition on Sunday. Team USA defeated Germany 87-68 in their final group play game. Jackie Young led the charge with 19 points off the bench. The U.S. will meet Nigeria in the quarterfinals on Wednesday. Meanwhile, LeBron James and the U.S. men's basketball team will battle Brazil tomorrow in the quarterfinals. >>American Suni Lee Wins Bronze In Uneven Bars (Paris) -- Suni Lee picked up her third medal on Sunday at the Paris Olympics. Lee won the bronze in Sunday's uneven bars final for her sixth career Olympic medal. Lee will have a chance to leave Paris with another medal when she competes in the balance beam final today, which is the final day of gymnastics. The other three medal events are men's parallel bars, men's horizontal bar and women's floor exercise. Simone Biles will be looking for more gold in both the beam and floor. >>Scottie Scheffler Wins Gold For Team USA (Paris, France) -- Scottie Scheffler is bringing home the gold from the Paris Games. Scheffler fired a 62 on Sunday to finish atop the leaderboard at 19 under par in the men's individual golf tournament. He was one shot better than Great Britain's Tommy Fleetwood. Japan's Hideki Matsuyama won bronze at 17 under. Fellow Americans Xander Schauffele and Wyndham Clark finished tied for ninth and 14th, respectively. Collin Morikawa finished tied for 24th.
