Mary Lou Fuston

Mary Lou Fuston, 69, of Lebanon, Indiana passed away Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Marion Health East Hospital in Gas City, Indiana. She was born on March 25, 1957, in Pineville, Kentucky; a daughter of the late John Fuston, Sr. and Joyce (Floyd) Fuston.

She worked at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood as a dietary aid for many years.

Mary had a sense of humor and loved joking around with those around her. She enjoyed crocheting and was always working on something, so much so that nearly everyone had something special made by her. Mary also loved putting puzzles together and could complete a 1,000-piece puzzle in just a matter of hours. Above all she treasured her family and the time she spent with those she loved. Tonya Fuston holds a special place in this family’s hearts for always being there for Mary and spending time with her.

Survivors include her daughters, Melvina (Tim) DeVine of Matthews, Indiana and Pamela (Ricky) Sandoval of Fort Green, Florida; grandchildren, Kalie Strange, Avery DeVine, Josh McQuaig, Joseph McQuaig, and Andrew McQuaig; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Mark Fuston of Bowling Green, Florida, Rosie Fuston of Wauchula, Florida, Joyce Fairfield of Tipton, Indiana, and Blanche Ralston-Fultz of Mulberry, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her siblings, John Fuston, Jr., Margaret Lumley, Albert Fuston, and Charlie Fuston.

Memorial services are planned for 3:00 p.m., on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services.
