Linda Glass, of Lebanon, cherished mother, grandmother and friend passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones October 29, 2026, at age 83. An absolute hoot of a woman, Linda could make a fast friend of anyone and slap a smile on their face whilst beating them in a hand of cards or dominoes. She loved family gatherings, hollering about football on Sundays, and spending time with her beloved friends. She will be dearly missed by all those lucky to know and laugh with her.

Linda was born on March 19, 1943, to Edgar and Angeline “Betty” Ross. After high school she married Harry Clanton, dedicated her time to her four children as a long-time homemaker, and later worked at the Thorntown Pizza King and Stookey’s for many years. Later in life, she married Roy Glass with whom she spent many memorable years in the rolling hills of Kentucky. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, her Sunday dinners, and as a cherished friend who always made time for cards, luncheons, and laughs.

Linda will be deeply missed by her three immensely dedicated sons, Curtis (Tammy), Cary (Lisa), and Craig (Tina) Clanton along with her grandchildren, Eric (Kim) Clanton, Catherine Repay, Cameron (Laura) Clanton, Cari Ann (Drew) Guenther, Amanda (Dylan) Wildman, Carlie (Daniel) Shoemaker, and Casey (Brayden) Johnson.

Linda also leaves behind fourteen precious great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by both her parents, her brother, Terry Ross, and her beloved daughter, Cathi Clanton.

Visitation will be held 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N Lebanon St, Lebanon, IN, with a funeral service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Boone County Cancer Society or Bethel Hill Cemetery.

On behalf of Linda’s family, deepest gratitude goes out to the Witham Hematology and Oncology teams for their dedicated care and compassion.
