Lebanon Police And Fire Called To Accident

On 08/12/2026 at approximately 2:27pm, Lebanon Police Officers and Lebanon Fire
Department were dispatched to a crash with entrapment in the area of the 137mm of I-65
northbound. Responding Officers were informed the crash involved a passenger vehicle and a semi.
Upon arrival, Officers were told the driver of the vehicle was stuck inside and was
unresponsive. Lebanon Fire was able to extricate the driver, and the driver was taken to an
Indianapolis-area hospital in critical condition. The semi driver was uninjured. The semi driver
was identified as 70-year-old Ephriam Spraggins out of Seagoville, TX.
Due to the severity of the crash and the injuries, the CRASH Team was requested to
investigate. Preliminary investigation of the crash shows it was caused by weather conditions. The crash is still under investigation.
