Upon arrival, firefighters found a single passenger vehicle partially submerged in the water. The driver had managed to exit the cabin but remained trapped and stranded on top of the vehicle.

Rescue crews secured the driver were able to successfully raise them from the creek to the roadway without incident. The individual was evaluated at the scene by emergency medical services and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Crews remained on scene and assisted Bob’s Towing with securing lifting equipment to the vehicle so that it could be lifted and removed from the creek.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by local law enforcement.
