On Sunday, June 15th, at approximately 4:03 pm, crews were dispatched to 206 Lakeshore Drive on a house fire. Officers from the Lebanon Police Department arrived on scene and confirmed all occupants were out of the structure. Lebanon Fire units arrived shortly after to find a fully involved garage fire that had spread to the house. Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire, perform a primary search, and protect an adjacent exposure within minutes of arrival. Fire crews on scene were able to salvage and retrieve personal items for the homeowner. No civilians or emergency personnel were injured in the fire.
Once the fire was fully extinguished, Lebanon Fire Investigators conducted an origin and cause investigation. The fire originated in the garage, near a golf cart, and was determined to be accidental in nature
The Salvation Army of Boone County is assisting the homeowners.
