Jonathan Ryan Wampler

Jonathan Ryan Wampler, born June 10, 1983, sadly passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, of a heart attack.

He was a father, son, big brother, proud PopPop, and a great friend to many. He was a beautiful soul, and a man committed to his faith, his family, and his recovery.

Jonathan is survived by his mother, Deborah Dunn Combs of Lebanon; daughter, Piper Wampler of Lebanon; brothers, Bobby Combs of Lebanon and Anthony Hubbard of Virginia; sisters, Tifanie Combs and Shawnna Combs both of Lebanon; ex-wife, Kandy Stockton; stepsons, Brian Hanrahan and Nathan Kaylor both of Lebanon; three grandchildren; aunts, Cheryl Monk of Indianapolis, Stephanie Henz of Indianapolis, Susan Dunn of Delphi, and Doris Bennette of Kentucky; uncles, Richard Dunn, Kevin B. Jett, and Floyd Boesch all of Indianapolis, cousins, Jessica Gray and Jelenna Cox both of Kentucky; and nieces and nephews.

Please join us for a celebration of Jonathan’s life at Life’s Journey Church, 522 Powell Street, in Lebanon, Indiana on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.

Memorials may be sent to Myers Mortuary to assist the family with funeral costs.
