John David Hedge

John David Hedge, 85, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, at his home in Cicero, Indiana. He was born in Advance, Indiana, on August 7, 1940, a son of the late Donald W. and Helen I. (Krukewitt) Hedge.

On August 14, 1964, he married Patricia Hedge in Charleston, Illinois; she survives.

He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1959 and honorably served in the United States Army. John farmed crops and raised livestock for many years.

He loved gardening, especially his flowers. John was a devoted husband and brother who will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Hedge of Cicero; sisters, Ann Richards and Marty Davidson both of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, James O. Hedge and sisters, Phyllis Allen and Lois Higinbotham.

Funeral Services are planned for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Private family interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana.

Memorials may be directed in his memory to charity of the donor’s choice.
