Jacquline Ruth Clemens

Jacquline Ruth Clemens, 80, passed away at her home in Lebanon, Indiana, on Thursday, April 2, 2026. She was born in Clinton County, Indiana, on January 19, 1946; a daughter of the late Carl and Esther (Colcord) Eavey.

She was married and divorced from the late Kenneth L. Clemens.

Jackie graduated from Lebanon High School in 1964. She worked as a waitress and cook for many years. She spent time at the Koala Center and several years cooking at various places around Lebanon including Ulen Country Club and Maple View prior to her retirement. Jackie enjoyed yard work, vegetable gardening, playing cards, and cooking and baking. More importantly, she loved spending time with her family and her pets.

Survivors include her daughter, Christina (fiancé, Chasteven Crosby) Bray of Lebanon; grandchildren, May Lee Bray and Josh L. (Kelsey) Clemens; great grandchildren, Dreden Clemens, Koralee Clemens, Ashlyn Clemens, and Chandler Mathews; brothers, Robert (Janice) Eavey of Lafayette, Larry Eavey of Avon, and Jerry Eavey of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Dot.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her sisters, Sue (Dwight) Clouse and Patricia (Raymond) Schrey and sisters-in-law, Barbara Eavey and Marilyn Eavey.

Funeral Services are planned for 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
