Hometown Hero Signs Return To Veterans Park In November

  The City of Frankfort is proud to announce the return of the Hometown Heroes program, honoring local veterans at Veterans Park during Veterans Day week in November 2025. Custom signs featuring veterans' names, military pictures, branch of service, and years served will be displayed at Veterans Park and showcased during the Veterans Day Program on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Veterans or family members can submit information for the signs by emailing Kimberly Black at kblack@frankfort-in.gov or dropping off the Veteran Form to the Community Development Office inside Old Stoney (301 East Clinton Street, Frankfort, IN). The deadline for submissions to guarantee a sign by Veteran's Day is Friday, October 17, 2025. Payment is required at the time of submission. The City of Frankfort accepts cash or checks made payable to "City of Frankfort".
