Historical Society To End Lincolns Lebanon

   The Boone County Historical Society announced on their Facebook page that they were ending the Lincolns Lebanon event.  The statement read in part, “After many years of bringing history to life in our community, the Boone County Historical Society has made the difficult decision to discontinue our annual Lincoln's Lebanon event. Like many organizations, we face ongoing challenges with things like rising costs, volunteer availability, and competing with other events. So, after careful consideration, we believe redirecting our resources will allow us to better sustain our core mission of preserving and sharing Boone County's rich history through the Cragun House, exhibits, programs, and other initiatives."
