Fredna Joyce Noe, 78, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Franciscan Health Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born December 3, 1946, in Lebanon, Indiana, the daughter of the late Fredrick A. Trips and Mary Ann (Whitaker) Trips Wyatt.
Fredna lived a life full of love, family, and simple joys. She worked for many years as a production clerk at a wiring company, but her happiest moments were spent at home or surrounded by loved ones. She enjoyed coloring, tending to her yard, and never passed up a chance to dance. Fredna also had a special love for animals, especially her cats, who brought her comfort and companionship. Above all, she cherished time with her family, who meant the world to her.
She is survived by her daughter, Nickie Woodson and son-in-law, Rod Woodson of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Marikah, Demitrius, Tia, Jairus, and Nemiah Woodson; and great-grandchildren, Isaiah Woodson, Rashaad Hill, and Amias Johnson. Also surviving are her brother, Charles “Butch” Trips of Clermont; sister, Sheila Darlene Minor of Colfax; brother-in-law, David Benge of Lebanon; and many nieces and nephews.
Love and companionship were important parts of Fredna’s life. She was married to Carl Theede, Marvin G. Birge, and Harold “Butch” Noe, and each relationship held a meaningful place in her story. She was preceded in death by her husband, Butch, in 2016; her former husband, Marvin, in 2013; her sister, Terry Lynn Benge; and her stepfather, James “Buck” Wyatt.
Memorial services are planned for 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Those who wish may honor Fredna with a gift to the Humane Society for Boone County, P. O. Box 708, Lebanon, Indiana 46052.
