Frankfort Man Arrested Again For Dealing Meth

On September 29, 2026, Frankfort Police night shift officers stopped a vehicle for speeding on State Rd 28 near 450 W in Frankfort. The Clinton County Sheriff's Office K9 unit arrived and conducted an exterior sniff of the vehicle. After an alert, evidence was located. An investigation resulted in the arrest of 34-year-old, Dakota Sheets, of Frankfort. The following charges filed by the Clinton County Prosecutor:

35-48-4-1.1(a)(2)/F2: Dealing in Methamphetamine: Poss. w/ Intent, 10g or more

35-48-4-6.1(a)/F3: Possession of Methamphetamine; Between 10-28g, Enhancing Circumstance

35-44.1-3-1(a)(1)/MA: Resisting Law Enforcmnt: def. knowingly/intentionally forcibly resist/obstruct

Sheets was out on bond from an April 2026 FPD Narcotics Unit investigation that resulted in charges of Dealing Methamphetamine, Resisting Law Enforcement and Obstruction of Justice.
