Doyle Hicks

Doyle Hicks, 74, passed away at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana on Saturday, November 1, 2025. He was born on December 26, 1950, in Dayton, Ohio; a son of the late Curtis and Norma Jean (Firman) Hicks.

On November 9, 1974, he married Iris F. (Watson) Hicks; she survives.

Doyle graduated from Valley View High School in Ohio and served honorably in the Unted States Navy from 1970 to 1974. He began his career as a bindery operator at United Color Press.

Doyle enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was an avid car enthusiast. He also loved watching westerns, especially John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies.

Survivors include his wife, Iris Hicks; two sons, Bryant Hicks and wife, Brittany and Todd Hicks; three grandchildren, Curtis, Lucas, and Travis Hicks; and sister, Beverly Cole and husband, Larry.

Funeral Services with Military Rites are planned for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon
