Boone County Prosecutor Kent Eastwood announced today that the
Indiana Court of Appeals has affirmed the convictions of James O. Brown and Kendra
Johnson-Brown, both of Indianapolis, for their roles in a violent interstate shooting that
seriously injured a semi-truck driver.
In separate decisions, the Court upheld Brown’s conviction for Level 1 felony Attempted Murder and Johnson-Brown’s conviction for Level 3 felony Aiding, Inducingor Causing Aggravated Battery.
The convictions stem from a July 3, 2024, road rage incident on Interstate 65 in Boone County.
