County Asked To Declare 2nd Amendment Sanctuary

A group of more than 1,000 residents is asking county commissioners here to pass an ordinance declaring Boone County as a Second Amendment Sanctuary. Rod Noggle of Jamestown stood up at the Feb. 3 commissioners’ meeting and presented an argument for the case. The commission took no action on the proposal. President Donnie Lawson said they will consider the request, but did not indicate one way or another how the commissioners were leaning. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
