Council Tables Commissioners Request

Due to a lack of information the Boone County Council tabled a decision on a new county attorney at their meeting Tuesday. The Boone County Commissioners hired Beth Copeland but it is the council’s responsibility to find the money to pay for the new position.  Council President Jennifer Hostetter requested documents from Commissioner President Scott Pell more than a week ahead of Tuesday’s meeting, including a proposal Pell previously said he made to Copeland. But Hostetter received only one of the documents requested, and it wasn’t the proposal.
