Charles “Cole” Warren

Charles “Cole” Warren, 73, of Lebanon, died Friday, July 25.  He was the son of late Charles and Norma Jean (Frazier) Warren, born on February 1, 1952 in Lebanon; he graduated with the Class of 1970 and attended Purdue University where he attempted to teach the professors.

 

Cole was a hardworking man who dedicated his entire career to farming, as the owner and operator of Cole Warren Farms he farmed corn, beans and livestock.  As the former co-owner of the Boone County Livestock Center, Cole operated as a livestock broker.  Cole was an entrepreneur at heart having owned and operated different businesses over the years.  His hard work allowed him to give back to his community as a supporter of the Boone County Cancer Society and the Boone County Foundation. Cole was a very generous and a very spirited individual......

 

He is survived by his daughter, Whitney (Jason Whitlow) Warren of Greenville, South Carolina; grandson, Charles “Cole” Warren; brother, Chad (Micki) Warren of Indianapolis; the son he never had, Ryan (Jamie) Venis of Lebanon and “Uncle” Walter (Bridgett) Burtner of Lebanon; nieces and nephew, Craig Warren of Lebanon, Angie (Chris) Coddington and Jamie French both of Lebanon.  Cole was fortunate to have found a loving companion in Joy Pollock of Lebanon; they enjoyed many good times together. 

 

Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, July 30 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Strawmyer and Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made the Alzheimer’s Association or the Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home.
