Celebrating 40 Years Of Dedication – Jeff Keller

The Boone County Sheriff's Department recognize and honor Jeff Keller for 40 years of service with the Boone County Sheriff’s Office!

Jeff began his career in May 1983 as a Communications Officer and member of the Jail Staff. In November 1987, he took the oath as a Merit Deputy and quickly rose through the ranks:

 • September 1997 – Promoted to Merit Lieutenant

 • February 1999 – Selected as Chief Deputy

 • 2015 – Promoted to Law Enforcement Captain

 • November 2019 – RETIRED!

 • February 2021 – Returned to serve in our Civil Process Division
