There’s nothing quite like the Fourth of July in small-town Indiana. It’s a time when streets fill with laughter, flags wave proudly in front yards, and neighbors come together to celebrate something bigger than all of us: the precious gift of freedom and the community that makes it meaningful.
This Independence Day, come join your friends, family, and neighbors at the Lebanon 4th of July Parade & Fireworks, one of Boone County’s favorite traditions.
🎺 Parade Details
📍 Where: The parade kicks off at Median and East Streets in Lebanon, Indiana
🕐 When: 1:00 PM on Friday, July 4th
Get ready for a classic slice of Americana — colorful floats decked out in stars and stripes, local marching bands playing spirited tunes, veterans proudly riding by, youth sports teams tossing candy, fire trucks with lights flashing, and maybe even Uncle Sam waving from a convertible.
This is more than just a parade; it’s a living tribute to the generations who have defended and built this country, and to the freedoms we sometimes take for granted.
🎇 Fireworks Spectacular
As the sun sets and the sky turns from pink to deep indigo, gather with loved ones under the open Indiana sky. At 10:00 PM, the night will burst into color with a breathtaking fireworks display. Watch as brilliant reds, dazzling blues, and sparkling golds dance overhead — a fitting tribute to the liberty we hold dear.
Bring lawn chairs or blankets, pack some snacks, and make it a full day of celebration.
What We’re Really Celebrating
The Fourth of July isn’t just about parades and fireworks — it’s about pausing to reflect on the courage it took to secure our independence, and the responsibility we all share to keep our communities strong and united.
It’s about cherishing the freedoms to speak our minds, gather with friends, worship as we choose, and pursue our own dreams. It’s about teaching our kids what it means to be part of something larger than themselves.
As you watch the floats roll by and fireworks bloom above Lebanon, take a moment to appreciate how fortunate we are to live in a country where liberty is a birthright, and where each of us can help shape a brighter future.
✨ Make the Most of the Day
Arrive early for the parade to secure a great viewing spot — bring chairs, sunscreen, and your best patriotic gear.
Support local vendors selling food, drinks, and festive goodies along the route.
Share the moment with neighbors and friends, old and new. After all, community is at the heart of what makes America so special.
A special thank you to the underwriters who help make this day special.
🎆 From all of us here in Lebanon, we wish you a safe, joyful, and meaningful Fourth of July. Let’s come together to celebrate our freedom — and the bonds that make us truly united.
Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸
