Brenda Montgomery

Mrs. Brenda Montgomery, 72, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, April 20, 2026, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. She was born August 27, 1953, in Lebanon, a daughter of the late James Dee and Anna Mae (Isenhour) Miller. Brenda married Dicky Lee Montgomery on November 29, 1974, and he preceded her in death on April 19, 2010.

Brenda worked at several places throughout her life, including A & P Grocery Store, Safeway, Prairie Industries, and KFC. She later retired from Kauffman Engineering after many years of dedicated service.

Brenda enjoyed pan flute music and found a special sense of community among the musicians. She was a devoted fan of Patrick Swayze and especially loved the movie Dirty Dancing. Brenda also had a deep affection for her beloved pug, Gidgee Boo, who held a special place in her heart.

Survivors include her daughters, Kristi (Richard) Johnson of Lebanon and Marcia (Brett) Hillock of Lebanon; sister, Alice (Eugene) Neal of Lewistown, Montana; grandchildren, Eliza Wilma Charlotte Johnson, Dylan Hillock, Grace (Jake) Kuziela, Morgan Hillock, Josie Hillock, Meriam Hillock, and Aliyah Culley; as well as ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Brenda was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Miller.

Family and friends will gather Thursday, April 23, 2026, for visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Brenda will be laid to rest at Browns Wonder Cemetery in Lebanon.
