Boone County Sheriff's Department Moves Into Justice Center

The Boone County Sheriff's Office has officially relocated to the Ern K. Hudson Justice Center, effective Thursday, May 22, 2025.

This move marks a major milestone in enhancing public safety services in Boone County — with modern technology, improved security, and expanded operational space to better serve our community.

To commemorate the move, Sheriff Tony Harris, Chief Deputy Mike Beard, and Director of Capital Investments Max Mendenhall proudly raised the American, Indiana, and Boone County flags outside the new facility.
