🐖 Boone County Battle of the BBQ Returns August 9th — A Full Day of Flavor and Community!

Mark your calendars and bring your appetite—Saturday, August 9th is shaping up to be one of the most meaningful and mouthwatering days of the summer!

The Boone County Cancer Society invites you to a full day of fun and fundraising at Memorial Park in Lebanon, starting with the You’re Not Alone 5K Walk/Run at 8:00 AM, and wrapping up with the Battle of the BBQ from 5:00–7:00 PM.

Begin the day by walking—or running—for a cause that touches so many lives in Boone County. The You’re Not Alone 5K helps fund care packages for first-time chemo and radiation patients at Witham Hospital, offering comfort and encouragement when it’s needed most.

Then, join us in the evening for BBQ, live music, a kids' play area, and friendly competition as local BBQ teams go head-to-head for the coveted People’s Choice Award—and you get to vote!

🎟️ $15 donation covers a meal and drink👧 Kids ages 3–5 eat for $5🎶 Live music plays from 5–7 PM🎟️ Don’t forget the Golf Cart Raffle and 50/50 drawing too!
