Boone County Basketball Hall Of Fame Class Of 25 Announced

The Boone County Basketball Hall of Fame is proud to announce its Class of 2025 Inductees!

2025 Inductees:

Charlie Kirby – Whitestown, Class of 1962

Brenda Davis – Lebanon, Class of 1974

Joe Klingler – Lebanon, Class of 1985

Phil Vidito – Thorntown, Referee

Martha Randel – Recipient of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Silver Medal

The Induction Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, October 11, at the Zionsville Lions Club, beginning at 1:00 PM.

Kyle Neddenriep, high school sports reporter for the Indianapolis Star, will be the guest speaker. Kyle will share stories from his travels across Indiana covering high school basketball. He is also the author of the book Historic Hoosier Gyms: Discovering Bygone Basketball Landmarks.

Additionally, we will be recognizing twelve (12) high school seniors, who each received a $1,000 scholarship to support their continuing education.

This event is open to the public, and they hope you can join them for this special celebration of Boone County’s basketball legacy.
