The town of Thorntown is under a boil water order following a water main break that occurred Thursday, July 10. The leak has been repaired, but drinking water should be boiled until state health officials test the water and give the all-clear, Thorntown Utilities announced Friday. The Boone County Department of Health donated 250 cases of bottled water to the town. One case per household is available at the utilities office while supplies last. Call the utility office for more information, at 765-436-2627.
