Anderson E. Frederick (Eugene)

Anderson E. Frederick (Eugene), 91, of Crawfordsville, Indiana went to be with Jesus on October 31, 2025. He was born in Laurel County, Kentucky on January 4, 1934; a son of the late John Henry Frederick and Ameada (Lockaby) Frederick.

He previously worked as a welder at Central States Bridge and Structural Company until he retired. In his earlier years, Anderson worked alongside his dad in the tobacco fields.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and girlfriend, Georgie. Anderson loved playing blue grass and gospel music. He used to play music with Smartsburg Pickers. Anderson also enjoyed fishing, bird watching, gardening, and riding his scooter around.

Survivors include six daughters, Donna (Steve) Gulley, Judy (Phil) Gulley, Connie (Bill Wire) Twitty, Teresa (Mark) Basham, Patricia (Marshall) Milby, Cathy (Shane) Hunsinger; ten grandsons; one granddaughter; fourteen great grandsons; six great granddaughters; two great-great grandsons; and many nephews and nieces.

In addition to his parents and wife Mary, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilma; daughter, Ima Jean Jones; great granddaughter, Allison Twitty; five sisters, Anna Mae (Luster) Engle, Myrtle (Carlos) Thompson, Della (Everett) Young, Martha (Julius) Ford, and Minerva (Herman) Keller; three brothers, George Thomas (Rhodie) Frederick and second wife, Lela, Cecil (Marilene) Frederick, and Harold (Linda) Frederick; two brothers died at birth; many half-brothers; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral Services are planned for 12:00 noon on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Old Union Church, 5681 South 500 West, in Jamestown, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow services at Pisgah Cemetery in Montgomery County.
