ZFD Called Out To House Fire

Wednesday evening, the Zionsville Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire at 8275 Oak St. in Zionsville. Zionsville firefighters arrived to find a small fire in the main electrical panel in the attached garage. Crews were able to bring the fire under control after 5 minutes.

One resident was home at the time of the fire and was able to exit the structure prior to crews arriving.

Zionsville Fire Department investigators are investigating the cause of the fire and estimate damage costs to exceed $5000.00. There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians.
