At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Monday evening (10/13/2025), officers with the Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department (WMPD) conducted a traffic stop on southbound I-65 near the 131-mile marker. The vehicle, a black Chevrolet sedan, was driven by Tionia Britany Miles (36), of Indianapolis, Indiana.
During the stop, officers detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, which led to a probable cause search. Upon searching the trunk, officers located a black duffel bag containing ten large, silver-wrapped packages. Field testing confirmed the contents to be cocaine, with a total weight of approximately 24.5 pounds. The estimated street value of the narcotics is approximately $176,000.
Tionia Miles was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Boone County Jail pending preliminary charges of Dealing in Cocaine (Level 2 Felony).
