Turkeyfoot Pedestrian Bridge Closing Temporarily

Beginning on or after May 15, 2025, the Turkeyfoot Pedestrian Bridge will be CLOSED for construction as Zionsville Parks Department replaces the wooden approaches with concrete and steel for improved access for maintenance and emergency services. The bridge is expected to reopen in Fall 2025.

Access for pedestrians will continue until barricades are placed, at which point access will be closed until the project is complete and the bridge is reopened for public use.

During construction, the bridge will be closed to all pedestrian access, but these areas will remain open:

 Turkeyfoot parking area (south of bridge)

 Creek access points

 The trail network north of the bridge, which includes Turkeyfoot Nature Park and the Eagle Creek Trail corridor within Holliday Farms.
