The Lebanon Police Department is excited to share the launch of our new Community Outreach Program, called C.O.P. This initiative marks a significant step forward in enhancing community relations and improving services to better meet the needs of Lebanon residents.
The C.O.P. program is led by committed members of the Lebanon Police Department, working in partnership with department leadership and community stakeholders. Its primary focus is to identify areas where the department can enhance its service delivery and strengthen community engagement.
The Lebanon Police Department's Community Outreach Program is dedicated to building trust, promoting education, and fostering community engagement. Our goal is to bridge the gap between the community and law enforcement through partnership, transparency, and mutual respect.
Currently, the program’s staff members have completed the initial planning stages and are entering phase two, which involves direct engagement with community members to gather feedback through a specially designed questionnaire developed during phase one.
"We encourage all community members to participate when C.O.P. staff members knock on your door. Your honest feedback is invaluable and will guide us as we move forward into phase three of the program," added Lebanon Police Department Officer Kaleb McCloskey.
The Lebanon Police Department remains committed to serving and protecting the community and looks forward to fostering stronger relationships through this new Community Outreach Program.
For more information about the C.O.P. program and upcoming community engagement events, please contact Detective Sgt. Justin Fuston or Officer Ty Griffin at cops@lebanon.in.gov or call (765) 482-8361 and leave a voicemail. A member of our team will return your call as soon as possible.
