Haskins Sentenced To 25 Years In Prison

Thursday the Honorable Matthew Kincaid, Judge of Boone County Superior Court I, sentenced Lonnie Lee Haskins Jr (DOB: 6/19/1997) to 25 years at the Indiana Department of Corrections. Johnson was convicted of one count of Dealing in a Controlled Substance Resulting in Death, a level 1 felony.

On April 17, 2025, Lonnie Lee Haskins Jr pled guilty pursuant to a plea agreement where he admitted to delivering fentanyl to Jeremiah McClaine. After using the fentanyl, Jeremiah McClaine died. An autopsy confirmed that his death resulted from acute drug intoxication, with fentanyl contributing to his death.
