Frankfort Police Department Receives Accreditation Recognition.

Following a 20-month process, Frankfort Police Department earned the Accreditation Recognition from the Indiana Law Enforcement Accreditation Commision (ILEAC).

State accreditation means that Frankfort PD’s policies and procedures meet nationally recognized best practices which were verified by ILEAC and an outside auditor. Fewer than 5% of law enforcement agencies in the state are accredited.
