Indiana Gov. Mike Braun and the Indiana Department of Transportation today announced the award of more than $200 million in Community Crossings matching grants for local road and bridge projects across 245 Indiana cities, towns, and counties.
Locally Boone County received $426,000, Clinton County $1.5 million, Colfax $97,000, Frankfort $449,000, Michigantown $105,000, Ulen $68,000 and Zionsville $740,000.
Communities submitted applications for funding during a highly competitive call for projects in January. Funding for Community Crossings comes from the state’s local road and bridge matching grant fund.
