A Clinton County jury has found Justin M. Floyd guilty of multiple offenses following a multi-day trial in the Clinton Circuit Court. Floyd was convicted of:
Count 1: Rape, a Level 3 Felony
Count 2: Incest, a Level 5 Felony
Count 3: Strangulation, a Level 6 Felony
Count 4: Criminal Confinement, a Level 5 Felony
Count 5: Resisting Law Enforcement, a Class A Misdemeanor
After deliberating for several hours today, the jury returned a verdict on all counts in the Clinton Circuit Court. The State’s case was presented by Deputy Prosecutor Jennifer Maple. The case, which arose from an incident occurring April 19, 2023 near Mulberry, was investigated by the County Sheriff's Office. Sentencing is scheduled for March 31, 2025, before Judge Bradley K. Mohler.
