At Monday night’s Lebanon City Council meeting, Lebanon Fire Department swore in two newly promoted Fire Officers and introduced our newly appointed Fire Marshal and Fire Inspector. Kristopher Perry, a 9-year veteran of the department, was promoted from Lieutenant to the newly created rank of Division Chief of Training and Safety. Chief Perry will oversee the department’s incumbent training programs, coordinate new recruit training, and serve as LFD’s Incident Safety Officer.

After 22 years with the Town of Zionsville, Amy Lacy is retiring! If you’ve attended a Town Council meeting, stopped by Town Hall, or called the Town over the years, there’s a good chance you know Amy. She has been a familiar face at Town Hall for more than two decades. The public is invited to attend a retirement open house on Monday, September 21, immediately following the Town Council meeting.

The Boone County Board of Commissioners and Boone County Council will hold a special meeting and public hearing Wednesday, September 16, to meet with the Witham Health Services Executive Board and consider moving forward with the proposed affiliation agreement between Witham Health Services and Parkview Health. The special meeting and hearing will begin at 12 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2026, in the Jack Jones Community Room at Witham Hospital, 2705 N. Lebanon St., Leban

On September 14, 2026, at approximately 5:43 p.m., Lebanon Police Officers, Fire personnel, and medics were dispatched to a construction site in the area of 400 W and State Road 32 regarding a report of a male who had been struck by a pickup truck. Dispatch advised that life-saving measures had already been initiated by on-site medical personnel. Upon arrival, emergency personnel were directed to the location of the injured male. Emergency personnel continued life-saving m
