Mark your calendars for the Jamestown Apple Festival. Saturday October 3rd from 10 to 5 PM. Over 20 vendors. Live music all day. Apple Cider, Carmel Apples, Chilli, Pulled Pork and good ole Ham beans and cornbread. The festival will be held at the Pleasant Acres Nature Park.

Week Four of the college football season is underway. Indiana is 3-and-0 and hosts Northwestern tonight. Purdue hosts Notre Dame tomorrow. The Boilermakers are 1-and-2 while the Fighting Irish are 3-and-0.

Best of luck to the Western Boone Lady Stars and the Zionsville Lady Eagles as they enter regional play later today. Both teams will compete at the Harrison Hills golf course. Tee time is 9 AM.
