Jill Elaine (Showers) McCaw, 70, of Mexico, Missouri, passed away at King's Daughters Home in the early morning of August 17, 2026. Jill was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Jill was born on July 3, 1956, in Lebanon, Indiana, the daughter of William and Amelita (Stevens) Showers. The city of Lebanon is prioritizing a skatepark in the new city park to be built in 2027. Learn about the possible design and give your input. The gathering will be tonight at the Lebanon Municipal Building at 6 pm.

Big 4 Trail news from Lebanon Parks and Recreation, utility work West of Sam Ralston Road, along the Big 4 Trail, is now complete. The parking lot is also open. East of the Big 4 Trail – along Sam Ralston Rd to Patterson Street will be closed starting this Monday, August 24th due to utility work. Lebanon Parks and Recreation will keep us updated once the work is complete. After these projects are completed, the trails and parking lot will be re-paved.

The Sea Shore Water Park will be closing at 4pm this Saturday, August 24th for the Daddy Daughter Dance. The water park will re-open Sun. August 23rd at 12pm. August 23rd will be the last day of the season.
