Shelley Michelle Jamison, 60, passed away at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana on Saturday, April 11, 2026. She was born in Lebanon, Indiana, on February 5, 1966, a daughter of the late Karen Sue (Scott) Lawson. She attended Lebanon High School. Shelley married Kenneth Leroy Jamison, Jr. in Lebanon. Julia Ann Miller, 88, passed away at her home in Lebanon, Indiana on Saturday, April 11, 2026. She was born in Lebanon, on June 2, 1937, a daughter of the late Raymond R. and Dorothy I. (Cunningham) Heath. Monday night during the Lebanon City Council meeting Lebanon Mayor Matt Gentry had the honor of swearing in two new recruit firefighters Mike Barna and Josh Westfall. Barna and Westfall will spend the next twenty-four weeks at Northside Fire Academy.

Monday evening, the Western Boone School Board approved the hiring of Beth DeVinney as the new head coach of the Lady Stars basketball program. DeVinney’s last coaching stint was at Lebanon from 2012-18. In 2018 she became the athletic director at Sheridan High School and served in that role until this past fall. DeVinney replaces Hannah Kelly, who stepped down at the end of the season.
