The Board of Public Works and Safety accepted the resignation of Don Stock, who has served as the Director of Planning and Housing Initiatives. The Board of Public Works formally accepted his resignation during its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, February 23. Stock has served in the city’s administration for over five years, overseeing zoning updates, building services, and housing initiatives. The Frankfort Police Department is honored to announce the 2025 Officer of the Year as Officer Gustavo Garcia. He was selected for his dedication to the City of Frankfort and upholding the mission statement of the Frankfort Police Department. Officer Garcia was a lateral transfer to the department on August 29, 2023. He is a graduate of Frankfort High School. Officer Garcia is currently assigned to Squad B Nights.
