Mr. Larry Wayne Mills, 85, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Independence Village of Zionsville West. He was born July 11, 1941, in Lebanon, a son of the late Wayne C. and Eleanor R. (Martin) Mills. After graduating from Dover High School in 1959, he attended diesel mechanic school before beginning his career at Allison Transmissions. Richard “Dick” Shull Hankins, 81, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2026. He was born on June 30, 1945, in Akron, Ohio, a son of the late Pauline and Richard D. Hankins. He graduated from Thorntown High School in 1963 and attended Purdue University. Richard worked in the steel industry for 48 years at Biddle’s Manufacturing in Sheridan, Indiana, before retiring in 2017. Richard was an avid fisherman and made many trips to Cass Lake, Minnesota.
