Zionsville American Legion To Host Senior Salute

Boone County seniors who are entering the military will be honored at the sixth annual senior salute May 17 at American Legion Post 79 in Zionsville. Any Boone County high school senior graduating this year and enlisting in the military, joining a ROTC program or attending a service academy who are interested in being recognized can register at bcseniorsalute@gmail.com. Deadline for submission is April 24.

Senior Salute is open to the public and includes a Presentation of the Colors, a special presentation by Brig. Gen. J. Stewart Goodwin, traditional cake-cutting ceremony, a buffet luncheon and Commendation of Honorees. Tickets are $25 and available at the Zionsville American Legion. Honorees, their immediate families and grandparents are welcome at no charge.
