Wilson Announces Plans To Run For Mayor

   The first hat has been thrown into the ring for the office of mayor for the city of Lebanon. Matt Wilson, director of the Boone County Mentoring Partnership announced via his newly created Wilson For mayor Facebook page of his intension on Monday. Wilson along with his wife, April, have lived in Boone County since the summer of 2003, and moved to the city of Lebanon in February 2004. Since 2019, Wilson has been a Chaplain for the Lebanon Police Department, a Past-President of the Lebanon Kiwanis Club, President of Prevent Child Abuse Boone County, Center Township Advisory Board (since 2023), President of the Community Corrections Advisory Board, Secretary of Drug Free Boone County, and recently rejoined the board of the Heart of Lebanon and was appointed to the Discover Boone County board.
