Traveling Nurse Arrested For Possession Of Child Pornography

On Tuesday, February 28, Investigators and Deputies with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Tippecanoe County High Tech Crime Unit (HTCU) and their K9 Unit “Roger,” executed a search warrant at a local hotel. K9 Roger has been trained and certified to detect electronic devices, as well as devices capable of storing multi-media, i.e. thumb drives, portable hard drives, etc.
Investigators arrested Daniel Kane, 65, of Cumberland Center, Maine for the following:
Possession of Child Exploitation Material (22 counts) Level 5 Felony
Possession of Child Exploitation Material (1 count) Level 6 Felony
Formal charges are pending review by the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
