Softball Regional Results

   The Western Boone softball team won the Regional at Rochester last night. The Stars won the game in 8 innings 8 to 6. It is the third Regional title in school history for Western Boone, and first since 2021. Western Boone took the lead for good in the top of the eighth and held off a late challenge by Rochester to seal the victory. Western Boone will now face Central Noble in the Semi-State on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Kokomo. In other Regional action Riverton Parke ended Clinton Prairie season Tuesday night. The Gophers were defeated 12 to 5.
