Lebanon Kiwanis Kids Fishing Derby Returns On June 6

Get ready for a reel good time! The Lebanon Kiwanis Club invites kids and families to the annual Kids Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 6, at the Hot Pond, 700 E. Noble Street, Lebanon. This beloved, free event is open to children ages 5 to 17 and continues a 33-year tradition of bringing the community together through fun, family-friendly activities.
Event Schedule:
Registration: Begins at 8:00 a.m.
Fishing Begins: 8:30 a.m.
Prize Ceremony: 10:15 a.m. (awards by age group)
Participants will receive a bag of goodies donated by generous local businesses. After the lines are reeled in, kids can enjoy a free shaved ice treat from the Kona Ice Truck and lunch featuring hot dogs and chips!
“This event is about more than just fishing,” said Rob Kern, Lebanon Kiwanis Club president. “It’s about creating lasting memories, encouraging outdoor fun, and showing kids that their community is here to support them.”

An adult (all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)
Whether your child is a first-time angler or a future pro, the Lebanon Kiwanis Kids Fishing Derby offers a safe and exciting environment to cast a line, win prizes, and enjoy a day outdoors.
