Bonty Chosen As Interim For Boone EMA

Boone County is pleased to welcome Megan Bonty as the Interim Director of the Boone County Emergency Management Agency (EMA). A Boone County resident for more than 12 years, Megan brings extensive emergency management and operations experience, including coordinating preparedness efforts across an eight-county region. In her new role, she will work closely with local governments, first responders, schools, businesses, and community organizations to help keep Boone County prepared for emergencies.
